Late Spring 2006 (PDF format, 1.4 MB) - This issue is jam-packed with articles and information. Read about how California history has been preserved in the past, and options for the future. Get the inside scoop on summer events, including Mark Twain's upcoming appearance at the Patrons Fête and the fine musicians (headlined by Elvin Bishop and Angela Strehli) set to entertain at Coloma Blues Live!. Special Color Issue 2005 (PDF format, 1.3 MB) - This special issue of the Nugget highlights the recent Patrons Fête with many color photos. Learn about some of Coloma's historic churches, see aspects of life in 19th Century Gold Country as presented at the park, and enjoy some modern-day fun at ColomaFest.

April/May/June 2005, Volume 2, Issue 1 (PDF format, 728 KB) - The story of the Williams House is continued with a brief history of the house's original owner and his successors. Learn more about upcoming special events at the Park and new Mercantile products celebrating the culture of the Chinese who helped build this valley.

January/February/March 2005, Volume 1, Issue 4 (PDF format, 852 KB) - Read about the major grant awarded to the GDPA for the renovation of one of Coloma's oldest historic homes. July/August/September 2004, Volume 1, Issue 2 (PDF format, 1.25 MB) - Topics include a grant from PG&E to help replace the roof on the Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park museum, the newly formed El Dorado County Historical Network, activities related to the Park, an interesting story about a family separated by the Gold Rush, an article explaining why Gold Rush blacksmiths used charcoal instead of coal, and an opportunity to win one of two hand-crafted gold-bearing quartz necklaces.

April/May/June 2004, Volume 1, Issue 1 (PDF format, 1.48 MB) - Our first issue introduces Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park and the GDPA.
